Equipping the saints for the work of the ministry is a desired goal of this church. Our small group settings and classes nurture the learning and maturing process. This helps us to better understand our God and His desire for our lives. For a more relaxed environment we have various types of small groups that meet throughout the week, such as basketball, volleyball, and women's Bible study.
Alpha: This small group is for anyone who wants to explore the Christian faith or grow in their understanding of Christian beliefs. The setting is relaxed and informal. The group begins by enjoying dessert, watching a 20-25 minute video and discussing the video at your table. Any and all questions are encouraged. Alpha meets on Wednesday evenings, 6:30-8:00pm, which is the same time when our children’s clubs and Junior High group meets.
Good Sense: This is a 5 week course on Money Management that is offered 1-2 times a year. Attenders pay $10 for a workbook (one per family) and the course discusses: spending, saving, debt, giving, setting up a budget and record keeping.
Network: This 4 week course studies how God has uniquely designed each one of us (passion, personality and spiritual gifts/talents), and based on our “design”, try to learn the areas of service or ministry we would most enjoy. Cost is $10 per person for workbook.
